I believe in breaking bad habits – tearing down the misbuilt restructuring the foundation and rebuilding for success

I agree with Mistress Kathryn. I try to do the same things with my sub or slave..I am working on one now who has some bad habits coming in and need restructuring..

:) As You allow me, how can i be broken. i’m the property of my Mistress. So everything is Hers.

i wish i could be broken… i crave being broken. but my Master is so laid back and calm for the most part, i don’t think He will ever break me to the point to where i am exactly what He wants me to be, even though i have asked so many times for Him to shape/mold me…

I’m a Switch — submissive to Master and Domme to my 24/7 live-in submissive. I don’t believe in “breaking” a slave — or a horse, for that matter. As a trainer of horses and packgoats, and now consenting human submissives and slaves, gentling and building have worked much better for me; building confidence, building skillsets, helping them to build the lives that they want. Last year I was working with a “trainer” who indicated that at some point I should be “broken”, and then he did so — by abandoning me, breaking my biggest baddest hard limit short of “no death or maiming”, just suddenly not answering phone calls or emails without any closure or complaint. It worked, another piece of my broken heart from past treatment like that just obediently shriveled up and died.

Well, my infinitely patient and wise Master was still there, and so was my infinitely patient and wise subbie. So there.

“Breaking” is too often just an excuse for abuse, and an excuse for failing to hold adult responsibility for our own choices and actions.

If anybody is interested in more about the new theories of horse training — and how they relate to communications between people as well — see “The Path of the Horse” on Youtube.

I am a newbie and my Master just passed me and said I was finished with training. But I wanted to share the whole point of breaking the sub does not mean breaking their spirit; their spirit is why they are in the life style to begin with. It means that you break down the old thought patterns that keep them from being free to be able to submit themselves completely without history keeping them from doing so. That is why it is so important for a Dom to get to know as much as they can about the history of the sub.

There is so much to this world I do not know much about so thank you for this journal.
