A slave’s life is mostly composed of patience and study. Yes, study. If not with actual books, then following the example of greater, senior slaves. Or learning every nuance of their owner’s character, so that they can more completely and seamlessly offer themselves at the right time and in the right manner. — Laura Antoniou

i love this quote… it comes from experience.

When you have been in this life as a slave or submissive you learn a lot of valuable life lessons… i would like to say though that one can learn many lessons from the dominants and Elders other than our own owners out there… other people’s life lessons can be extremely valuable tools to take hold of and to pass to others as we go on in this community.

Take every bit of information you hear, file it all into your folders and save it, not everything you may be able to use, not everything is trustworthy… but everything is information and good to have on hand possibly for a rainy day. Some day that stored away tid bit you thought you didn’t need to save in your brain might come in handy. Knowledge is power.

And everyone who has come before you as an experienced slave, submissive, Master or Dominant started as someone who just walked in the door with no ideas in their head and gained wisdom along the way… these people know things and have lovely details that others may not quite grasp yet… don’t be afraid to ask an Elder a question… in a respectful way that is.
